Bellevue Location:

The Bellevue Academy is the Headquarters for Washington State Koei-Kan Karate-Do.

We offer three distinct programs, each teaching the full curriculm of the valued martial arts system of Koei-Kan Karate-Do.

Programs include:

• Adult Program-
• Bellevue Karate Kids-
• Koei-Kan Woman-

Our adult program offers a year round training schedule, opportunity to attend National Events and , flexibility in individual training schedules, social events and activities for adults and families. Each year we form an adult team to attend the spring National Koei-Kan competition in New Jersey and take a group to California for the Koei-Kan austerity training camp.

Bellevue Karate Kids offers school year and summer training schedules along with annual activities for program enrichments, such as pictures; kids game night, safety projects, fitness projects, State Koei-Kan tournament and spring special causes fundraiser/exhibition.  Summer activities include beach picnic, intensives, field trips. We offer classes in special education, by age segments and through advanced placement to ensure diversity in learning environments to help all of our children learn karate.

Koei-Kan Woman offers both women only classes and integrated co-ed training with emphasis on fitness and wellness, self-defense, inner practices and self-determination. Many of our women also have husbands and children training at the Academy and enjoy the opportunity to develop individually and with their families.
